Threads Forward Mentoring

NuFound21 pairs youth ages 12–21 who have experienced sexual exploitation or sexual violence within their family system with a trained survivor mentor for consistent, individualized support.

We support young people harmed by a family member or caregiver, or whose exploitation occurred through family relationships. Mentoring helps youth build safety, confidence, healthy relationships, boundaries, self-worth, and future goals. We also help prevent further exploitation within or beyond the family and support healing in safe, supportive relationships.

• Goal setting and future planning
• Connection to community resources
• Support during transitions from juvenile justice, foster care, or other systems

Mentoring may be provided in person, virtually, or through a hybrid model, based on location, individual needs, and program availability.

Referrals are accepted for youth ages 12–21 who have experienced sexual exploitation or sexual violence connected to their family system. Referrals may be submitted by professionals, agencies, parents, guardians, and community partners.
