Charel Murrell: A Champion for Change, Healing, and Empowerment!
Charel Murrell is a Boston native, visionary leader, and founder of Nufound21, a movement dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by familial sexual abuse and exploitation. With over 13 years of experience in CSEC prevention and youth advocacy.
Charel has supported hundreds of youth across the nation. Her work is rooted in both professional expertise and lived experience as a survivor, allowing her to connect deeply and serve with compassion, trauma-informed care, and authenticity.
Charel has facilitated over 50 prevention groups and worked alongside clinical professionals in areas including trauma recovery, substance use, mental health, and eating disorders. She takes a holistic approach recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all and that each individual’s story deserves to be honored.
A fierce advocate, Charel has supported youth through critical moments including court processes, recovery, and reunification ensuring they are not alone in their journey. Her work is driven by a deep belief that exploitation often begins with early trauma, and that with the right support, healing and transformation are always possible.
Through NuFound21, Charel continues to create spaces for healing, empowerment, and change bridging gaps in resources and building a future where no survivor is unseen or unsupported.
